FIFA High Performance, former Galway United Head Coach & Strategy Specialist

As an elite level football coach/manager, a high-performance Strategy Specialist and UEFA Pro License holder, Dubliner Lisa Fallon, is a highly respected sports professional with a strong, proven track record of success in elite sport. From her time as a sports reporter to her key leadership positions over the last decade, Lisa has shattered glass ceilings as the first ever female to be a head coach in professional men’s football, in Ireland and the UK.

Lisa’s expertise in tactical analysis and the development and execution of high-performance strategies have led her to being involved with some of the highest profile teams in soccer and football including her current role as FIFA’s Football Content Tournament Lead, working in the Global Football Development Division. Her previous roles include: First Team Head Coach at Galway United men’s first team, Head Coach of London City Lionesses (FA Women’s Championship), a member of Dublin GAA’s senior men’s, 5-in-a-row, All-Ireland winning backroom team, Head of Analysis and first team coach at Cork City FC men’s first team, Game Strategy and Tactical coach with Chelsea Women FC and Team Analyst for five years with Northern Ireland Men’s National Team.

She is a Mum, has two rescue dogs and is a strong advocate for the development of people-centred, high-performance cultures that drive and strive for excellence.

A member of the Olympic Federation of Ireland’s Gender Equality Commission, she is also a Non-Executive Director of Paralympics Ireland and is Chair of their High Performance Committee. She is a member of Sport Ireland’s Women in Sport Committee and is Chair of their Coaching Working Group.

Lisa’s work in media saw her become the first female football panellist on national TV in Ireland to cover men’s international and Champions League matches. A passionate speaker, Lisa draws on her vast experience, expertise and valuable insights to deliver talks in corporate, sporting and educational settings covering topics such as tactical strategy, building high-performance teams and cultures, critiquing and analysing performance, co-ordinating and aligning siloed teams towards collective goals, developing resilient mindsets and dealing with perception biases.
