Nathalie Nahai, one of the world’s foremost experts in Web Psychology, and Dr. Norah Patten, an Irish aeronautical engineer and Scientist-Astronaut candidate, will partake in a panel moderated by reporter and producer Kathriona Devereux at Pendulum Summit 2019. This announcement completes our strongest lineup yet, stretching across disciplines to deliver a potent package laden with game-changing insights. The panel will take place on Day Two at the Convention Centre Dublin this January, featuring between Brian Cody and Boris Johnson.
Nathalie helps businesses apply scientific rigour to their website design, content marketing and products. She’s worked with Fortune 500 companies, design agencies, and SMEs, including Google, eBay, Unilever, and Harvard Business Review. She now lectures internationally on the digital application of behavioural sciences and the subject of online behaviour.
Norah was elected as a member of the voluntary global faculty of the International Space University in 2016, and was the first Irish participant at Project PoSSUM. She has completed high-g flights, hypoxia training, aviation egress training and spacesuit testing and evaluations. She is also a strong advocate for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), and has appeared on national television shows and radio programmes, while also regularly delivering keynote speeches to promote STEM initiatives.
Kathriona is a reporter and producer with extensive experience on a range of TV programmes, including RTÉ’s The Consumer Show, From Here to Maternity, and What’s Ireland Eating. She has also completed a first-class MSc in Science Communication at Dublin City University in 2010, with her thesis investigating Irish science, technology, and innovation policy.
Together, the triumvirate will break down how they managed to pave their respective roads, serving as trailblazers leading the way forward. They will operate as embodiments of the Pendulum ideal; individuals from diverse backgrounds finding common principles through their respective stories that can be applied by our delegates.
Pendulum Summit returns to the Convention Centre Dublin this January 9th and 10th. Don’t miss the boat; secure your place now before we sell out.
