Diana Nyad
Diana Nyad is a world champion athlete, renowned inspirational speaker, author and compelling storyteller whose extraordinary life is a testament to perseverance, resilience and the power of the human spirit.
In 2013, at the age of 64, Diana achieved a goal she had pursued for 35 years: becoming the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida without a shark cage. Beyond her achievements in endurance sport, Diana has spent more than three decades as a sports journalist and storyteller, contributing to outlets including NPR and The New York Times.
