You are the creator of your own life
I want you to turn to the person next to you and I want you to look them in the eye and I want you to introduce yourself as a genius. Let’s begin. These last two days have been about you. It’s an opportunity for you to retreat from your lives for just a few days and remove the constant stimulation in your external environment that reminds you of who you think you are as a personality.
To separate yourself from the people you know and the places you go and things that you do at the exact same time every single day long enough for you to be reminded of what you already know, that you are the creator of your own life.
Latest discovery in neuroscience
All of these wonderful speakers that are disseminating information and knowledge literally begins to change you because every time you learn something new you make new connections in your brain. That learning is forging new synaptic connections.
The Nobel Prize winner Laureate Candle in the year 2000 found that when people learn just one bit of information and they paid attention to that information for about an hour. A new concept or a new idea occurred. They doubled the number of connections in their brain as a result of their interaction with the environment. There is physical evidence that they were learning something that was being stored and locked in your brain but he also knew that if they didn’t repeat that information. If they didn’t think about it. If they don’t review it those thoughts depart within hours or days. So if learning is making new synaptic connections, then remembering is maintaining and sustaining those connections.
Since I’m in the business of transformation, I now know after all of these years if you give people sound scientific information because science is the contemporary language of mysticism, science demystifies the mystical. If you combine a little quantum physics with a little neuroscience, a little psychoneuroimmunology, a little epigenetics, a little electromagnetism, all of these new sciences point the finger. If you give people the proper information and it’s not based on tradition, religion, convention or even spirituality they can turn to the person next to them and explain.
It means then they’re beginning to wire new circuits in their brain and install the neurological hardware in preparation for the experience. The more you understand what you’re doing and why, the experience is easier. So all of this philosophical, theoretical, intellectual information and knowledge that you learned this week is stored in your thinking brain, your neocortex and many of you will do nothing with it but some people will begin to review that information.
The people who do will begin to imagine how they can apply and the act of thinking about what you’re going to do begins to change your brain to look like you’ve already done it. That is the latest research in neuroscience.
How you can apply that knowledge
So then if you can initiate that knowledge, you can apply, you can personalize, you can demonstrate, you can do something with it. If you can get your behaviors to match your intentions, you can get your actions equal to your thoughts. You can get your mind and body working together. You’re going to have a new experience and that experience is like circuits in your brain and the moment those neurons begin to string into place your brain makes a chemical and that chemical is called a feeling or an emotion.
The moment you feel the need to empower the moment you feel successful, the moment you feel worthy of the moment you feel grateful for that experience. Now, you are teaching your body chemically to understand what your mind has intellectually understood.
We could say that knowledge is for the mind and experience is for the body and in that moment you were embodied in the truth of that philosophy and you are literally changing your genetic destiny.
Do you believe that the way you think can have an effect on your life?
How many people in this audience believe in the idea that the way you think can have some effect on your life? How many people here actually woke up this morning and consciously set an intention to create a new future? No, I know most people don’t do it because they don’t believe it’s true.
See if you knew that your thoughts had something to do with your life that your thoughts create your destiny. Would you ever miss a day in creating the life that you want? Would you ever let any thought slip by your awareness that you didn’t want to experience?
You think 60 to 70,000 thoughts every single day and 90% of those thoughts are the same thoughts as the day before. So if you told me that you believe that your thoughts have something to do with your destiny. If you’re not being defined by a vision of the future every single day I assert that you’re left with the memories of the past and you will be predictable in your life because if you’re thinking the same thoughts then your life should stay the same because the same thoughts lead to the same choices.
The same choices lead to the same behaviors and the same behaviors create the same experiences and the same experiences produce the very same emotions and feelings. Those same feelings and emotions inspire the very same thoughts and your biology, your neurochemistry, your hormones and even your gene expression is equal to how you think, how you act and how you feel is called your personality and your personality creates your personal reality. That’s it. So does it make sense then? If you wanted to create a new personal reality and new life, that means you would have to change your personality.
The model is very simple and it says that new thoughts should lead to new choices and new choices should lead to new behaviors and a new behavior should correlate to create new experiences and new experiences should create new feelings and new emotions. Those new feelings and emotions should inspire new thoughts. Most people initially do this when waiting for crisis disease diagnosis or after a loss, betrayal or failure. A person has to feel so distraught and life has to get so hard that they finally make up their mind to change. My message that I want to get across here is why wait till it gets that bad?
You can learn and change in a state of pain and suffering or you can learn and change in a state of joy and inspiration. Now people are waking up to the idea that they would like to be defined by a vision of the future instead of the memories of the past. Now think about this, your brain is a reflection of everything in your environment. Your brain is essentially an artifact. Everything that you’ve ever experienced and learned in your life. Your brain is a record of the past.
For many people the first thing they do when they wake up in the morning is think about their problems. If every single one of those memories are an experience from the past then every single one of those memories has an emotion associated with them because emotions are chemical residue of past experiences. So the moment a person thinks about their problems and the moment they feel unhappy or discouraged or unworthy their bodies are in the past because thoughts are the language of the brain and feelings are the language of your body and how you think and how you feel are your state of being.
Create A New Future & The Model Continued…
You can’t create a new future holding on to the emotions of the past. If you can’t think greater than how you feel, your feelings will become the means of thinking that you were thinking in the past.
And if you believe that your thoughts have something to do with your destiny, then your past is going to be your future because the body is so objective. If you’re thinking the same thoughts then your life should stay the same because the same thoughts lead to the same choices. The same choices lead to the same behaviors and the same behaviors create the same experiences and the same experiences produce the very same emotions and feelings and so on.
To change you’re going to have to become conscious of your unconscious habits and behaviors and start modifying them. You’re going to have to look at certain emotions that keep you connected to the past and decide if these emotions belong in your future.
Most people that try to create a new personal reality as the same personality, they don’t succeed. In order for it to work, you literally have to become someone else and that principle in neuroscience that says that nerve cells that fire together wire together. If you’re thinking the same thoughts, making the same choices, demonstrating the same behaviors, creating the same experiences that stamp the same networks of neurons into the same patterns, the repetition of firing and wiring those circuits over and over again begins to hardwire the brain into a very finite signature. And that signature in the brain becomes your identity.
The science says that 95% of who you are by the time you’re in your mid-30s is set up of hardwired attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, unconscious thoughts, habits, behaviors and emotional reactions that function like a computer program that you’ve completed so many times it is now automatic.
Therefore 95% of who you are is a series of subconscious programs. So when people try to change, they’re going to use the 5% of their conscious mind to work against 95% of what they’ve memorised subconsciously.
So this transcends the idea of positive thinking because The Model is very simple and it says that new thoughts should lead to new choices and new choices should lead to new behaviors and new behaviors should create new experiences and new experiences should create new feelings and new emotions and those new feelings and emotions should inspire new thoughts.
Memory Is Creative
The latest research on memory says that memory is creative. That 50% of what you talked about in your past isn’t even the truth. That people make stuff up and they tell an even worse story. They embellish it. Once a person gets trapped in the familiar feelings that define them the moment they feel unhappy now they’re ready to start the day. And here we go again. They’re going to go through a series of routine automatic behaviors and they’re going to wake up in the morning and pick up their smartphone right away right after they remember who they are.
They will check their WhatsApp and then they check their texts and then they check their Instagram and then their LinkedIn and their Facebook etc. Then they go to check their work email, then they check the other email and check the news and now they’re connected to everything known in your life.
You get up on the same side of the bed, you stretch a certain way, but you’re not conscious of that because that’s a subconscious program. You go through a series of routine behaviors. Then you have the creative thought of the coffee maker and then your body follows your mind right to the coffee maker. You go through a series of behaviors. You drink the coffee. You have the experience and feel the emotion. Then you have the thought of the shower your body follows your mind to the shower you go through a series of routine behaviors while you’re in the shower you start visualising what you’re going to wear and so on.
When things are good, you feel good and when things are bad you feel bad. And if I said to you, why are you feeling this way? You would say because of this person or the circumstance or this condition in my life. That means you are letting that person or that circumstances control how you feel and think and that means your victim to your environment and that’s an unconscious program.
If you keep repeating these actions everyday we would say that your mind overtime becomes like it is on autopilot and it’s dragging you into a predictable future based on what you did in the past. Most people lose their free will to a program but there’s no unseen hand doing it to them, it’s just that they’re unconscious 95% of the time.
If you’re not waking up in the morning being defined by a vision of the future, it’s possible then that you believe in your past more than you believe in your future.It’s possible that you’re more in love with your past then you are with the future. It means most people like telling the story of their past firing and wiring the same circuits working themselves up into an emotional broth just to condition themselves as an excuse not to change instead of telling the story of the future a new story or the future.
If you’re not waking up in the morning and creating that future and reminding yourself what that future is or how you’re going to be that day then you will be in the predictable future.
The change has to be greater than your environment, to be greater than the conditions in your world, the circumstances in your life and every great person in history understood this. Yes, if you want success, if you want freedom, if you want abundance or whatever your vision is, you are going to be challenged by your environment.
Overcoming Your Environment
So then if change means to overcome your body, to overcome your environment and to overcome time. Then it would make sense instead of waking up in the morning and remembering who you are based on your past memories and emotions. You instead are getting up and living in the present moment. Instead of reaching for your cell phone and connecting yourself to everything known in your life, you instead just sat down and decided to disconnect from your external environment and to close your eyes so there’s less information from your environment coming into your brain.
And if you put earplugs in or you put on some headphones and you all of a sudden were unaware of any sounds around you and you sat your body down and you told your body no, you stay right there. I’m going to feed you when we’re done, give you a shower and get up afterwards and check your emails. You can do all those things. But right now you’re no longer the mind I want.
And if you became aware that your body while you’re sitting there wanted to get up and do something because it has been programmed to do that and you became conscious that your body was doing that. You settled your body back down into the present moment. You would be executing a will that’s greater than the program and that’s a victory.
And all of a sudden you start flashing memories from the past just to feel that emotion and you become aware that you’re doing that and you settle your body back down into the present moment and you overcome that emotion and you come back to be in the present moment so you see this as a victory as well. And if you keep doing this just like training and exercise the body will realise it’s no longer the mind now, you’re the mind and when that happens there is a liberation of energy.
The body goes from particle to wave from matter to energy and people begin to free themselves from the chains of the familiar path in the predictable future and the body starts to relax into the present moment. And only in the present moment is where possibility exists because the familiar past is the known and the predictable future is the null and there’s only one place where the unknown exists and that is the future.
We have research to show that if you practice this over and over again, there will be significant changes that take place in the brain, your heart, your immune system and in your body because now our bodies are no longer enslaved to a program. But the hardest part about change is not making the same choice as you did the day before. It is the moment you decide to make a different choice to do something differently.
And this is where greatness begins, because the moment you step into the river of changing the body will as well. If you keep priming the brain and activating those circuits over and over again, the hardware is going to become a software program and who knows you just may behave like a happy person. No magic there. You install the circuits.
You Must Take Action First
Now here’s the tough part. Can you teach your body emotionally what the future will feel like before it’s made manifest. That means you can’t wait for your wealth, the feel of abundance. You can’t wait for your success. You can’t wait for your new relationship to feel loved. You can’t wait for your healing. You can’t wait for the mystical experience.
People live their whole life and wait for something out there to happen that will change the emptiness that they feel inside of them and they’re waiting for the event that will take it away. That’s Newtonian physics cause and effect. But the quantum model of reality is about cause and effect the moment you start feeling abundant. You are generating wealth the moment you start feeling worthy and empowered. You are stepping towards your success the moment you’re in love with life and in love with yourself. You will create equals.
The moment you start feeling gratitude and wholeness your healing begins and the moment you’re in awe of life. You’re going to have a mystical miraculous experience, and now that’s causing an effect.
There is no person in this room. That is so special to be excluded from that phenomenon. We have done over 10 years of research and you can’t tell me you’re too old to do it. We have elders in this work that are in their 80s that have incredible brain scans. They know how to execute and create that type of coherence in order.
You can’t tell me you’re too sick any longer to do this work. I have witnessed people with 50 brain tumors stand in front of an audience and talk about how their scans on the screen showed they no longer have brain tumors. Doctors told him there was nothing they could do for him. I’ve seen physicians stand on the stage with really significant and serious skin disorders. Physicians with Parkinson’s disease did all the treatments, all the analysis, everything they possibly could.. Their Parkinson’s disease went into remission. Now here’s the question. That a person with 50 brain tumors who now no longer has any brain tumors. Do you think there were days where he didn’t feel like doing the work? Do you think there were days where he felt so sick that he didn’t want to do it, but guess what? He did it anyway, and he overcame his body a little bit more everyday. There were days that he lived in fear because the doctors told him he was stupid and he was going to die.
These were days he could have excused himself because the fear was too great and he was surrendering to the fear, but guess what? He did the work. He began to surrender to love instead of fear, and he overcame his fear a little bit more everyday. There were days that he had doubt because his family was worried about him. He didn’t see his values or his condition changing even though he was doing the work. There was no defining moment for him to overcome a little bit more but he did the work anyway.
There were days he could have said I have children, a family, I’m too busy to do it. I can’t make the time. Instead every day he overcame, the overcame, he overcame the overcame until he became somebody else.
People are beginning to realise how powerful they really are. We have evidence and testimony that you can change your brain in one hour. We have evidence that you can rewire your brain in an hour. We have evidence that you can make your brain work better in four days. We have evidence that you can change gene expression in four days. We’re talking about genes that diminish cancer growth in tumors, genes that grow new neurons in the brain not just connections but new neurons and responses to learning and novel experiences genes and activate stem cells.
Those cells are potential cells that go to damaged tissues and repair those genes to strengthen your immune system, genes for oxidative balance, anti-cancer, anti-aging, anti stroke, entire neurodegenerative, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial.
We have the proof that says if you trade anger, fear, hostility and resentment for gratitude, appreciation and love you’ll make your immune system 50% stronger in 4 days. We have evidence to say that if you ‘think meditation’ five out of seven days for 60 days, you will lengthen your life.
Evidence Is The Loudest Voice
Evidence is the loudest voice. You can’t tell me that you had a turbulent past and it’s too hard for you because there’s no such thing as a bad meditation. There’s just overcoming yourself.
The people who have had a brutal past with abuse of all kinds when they break through they are able to create a new future.
When you start making big advances because you ask someone important questions like who am I, what is this all about? Was this worth it? When you start asking those fundamental questions, that’s the moment you can pay attention to how you’re thinking. You can notice how you’re acting. You can become aware of how you’ve been feeling. You will actually say, oh my god. I’ve been living in guilt for the last 10 years. I didn’t know I was, guilty just feels like me because you’re no longer inside the jar when you’re on the outside you can read the label and that’s called metacognition.
The word meditation literally means to become familiar with, that if you’re sitting with your eyes closed and you’re still and your brain is saying I can’t it’s too hard. I’ll start tomorrow and while all of that chatter is going on you’re observing those thoughts and they’re becoming familiar to you.
We could say now you are becoming conscious of your unconscious programs. When you begin to notice, become aware that you place the blame or get angry or judge and that program is running and you’re becoming familiar with the old self. I guarantee you in your waking day. You’ll catch yourself.
Especially when you’ve become so familiar with those thoughts, those behaviors they won’t slip by your awareness unchecked or unnoticed by you. If you become conscious that your body is frustrated and impatient and angry and all it’s doing is sitting there. You become aware that it’s doing that and you keep settling it back down to the present moment. It’s one of the greatest things you could do for your body.
If you keep doing that over and over, it’s going to become familiar to you. In fact, you’ll notice the sensations and feelings in your body. You see feelings or sensations and the accumulation of those sensations are called an emotion and when you’re agitated or when your heart is racing and you are noticing all these sensations. You may say I’m frustrated and name it as an emotion but when you start sensing those different feelings and those different physiological markers in your body, you could actually notice when it’s going to happen because you’re more conscious outside to know thyself.
This is where you have intentions and you speculate new ideas. You invent new possibilities. We turn on that frontal lobe and get busy answering the question. It looks out over the landscape of your entire brain and it looks for associated neurological networks that you would install from something you learn or some new experience and begins to call them up one by one and it begins to seamlessly paste them together when the brain starts firing and that’s called intention. You’re selecting a new potential in the quantum field.
For the passionate person who’s caught up in the moment of seeing that new future. There comes a moment where the thought in their mind literally becomes the experience and the end product of experience is called an emotion and the stronger the emotion you felt from that vision of the future the more you pay attention to the picture in your mind and you begin to remember your future.
When you felt that emotion you were giving your body a taste of the future emotion and you were aligned to that destiny.
And no person, no thing, no experience can talk you out of it. You felt that you knew that it was true and now your font is feeling your intention with that elevated emotion of joy, freedom, excitement and enthusiasm. You were literally embossing the circuitry in your brain in that future and you got busy writing down all the choices you were going to make, you review all the things you are going to do, you thought about your goals, those experiences that will get you closer to them and every time you wrote down every one of those experiences, you felt more of those emotions and your body was getting the signal before it was happening.
You became so conscious of those unconscious thoughts that they would never slip by your awareness unnoticed. You were like Gandalf on the bridge, you may not pass today then you looked at the emotions that will bring you to a lower level when you stop those emotions. You could no longer see that vision of the future because you’re looking at it through the lens of the past and every day you reminded yourself who you did want to be, and everyday you reminded yourself who you no longer want to be.
And then when it happened and occurred, it was no longer about the experience but the fact that you created it and that experience occurred. You are more loving, you feel more whole, you’re more giving, you are more kind, you’re more patient, you changed in some way and the dream became a reality.
Human beings can turn on the stress response just by thought alone. You can think about your problems. You can think about some circumstance and the act of thinking about it can begin to produce the same chemicals as if the effect was real. And if they’re turning on the stress response just by thought alone and if you can turn on that stress response just by thought alone. It means that your thoughts can literally make you sick.
Science says that if you can feel gratitude and appreciation and you learn how to breathe you learn how to open up this centre of right here in the center of oneness, the center of wholeness. This is your creative Center but because when you’re living in stress and survival and when you are in survival, it’s not a time to create. This is a time to run to turn the hide, it’s time to fight.
People spend 70% of their life living in the stress response and so then teaching a person how to connect with their heart needs to say this is only left of the Yogi’s and Mystics and monks. Yeah, we have the research to show that anybody can do it when you start activating this center and it starts moving into balance and coherence because you’re feeling an elevated emotion.
The moment energy makes it here. It goes right to the brain as science. Now the person that has energy is causing them to think differently about their own new consciousness.
Experiment With Destiny
You see the front of the brain talking to the back of the brain. You see the right side of the brain talking to the left side of the brain and all of a sudden you see this union of the two hemispheres of the brain that psychic union of polarity of opposites is called wholeness. You can walk around and look at that person who’s experienced that kind of wholeness and there will be tears of joy rolling down their face over and over again, they feel so hopeful.
They feel so connected that it’s impossible for them to want to feel like whatever they want. They already have how you want when you feel home and that’s when energy moves right into the center. Once it makes it here it goes right up into the brain.
Now the person is producing a coherent brain in a coherent heart and thoughts are the signal we put out into the quantum field and feelings on the emotion that draw the experience to us through the electrical charge on the quantum field and feelings are the magnetic charge in the quantum field and in that moment a person is broadcasting a whole new electromagnetic signature into the field and whatever that person broadcasts into the field is their experiment with destiny.
The personality takes a long time to change. The personality that changes matter takes time and when you become nobody, you disconnect from everything known in your three-dimensional reality and you become pure consciousness. This in turn created an arousal in the brain.
No longer was there anxiety or a feeling of pain, suffering or guilt. There was no longer anger, frustration, resentment, aggression and hatred as the arousal that was being created in the brain was ecstasy.
The arousal of being creative brings bliss. There was a sympathetic response that caused the person to feel a level of euphoria, a level of bliss, a level of love. There’s a vibrational match between our energy and that potential now all the sudden we don’t have to go anywhere to get it. We are the magnets to our destiny.
The new science says it’s absolutely possible that people were able to do this and do it successfully and our research shows us their values change and it’s who you become that matters most because that’s what you’ll take with you.
Take Time Out Of Your Busy Lives
So take a little time out of your busy lives to think about everything you learned in this wonderful conference. All of the information that is stitched into your neurological networks should inspire you to think about it more and think about it to such a degree to ask yourself. What am I going to do with this information when I return back to my life?
Every single day, taking a little bit of time to invest in yourself, reminding yourself of that vision of the future. Look at the blind spots, the unconscious part of you that you want to make conscious, those thoughts, those behaviors, those emotions and become conscious of them. Know that when you believe in yourself, you believe in possibility and when you believe in possibility, you believe in yourself, Therefore, a little time to invest in yourself means that you are investing in the future and the side effect of this is all of a sudden now, you start seeing the fruits of your efforts as you change from the inside out.
And who gets to be the beneficiary of your efforts would you say? Well you first, then your family, then the people you work with and ultimately the community. When looking at it this way it makes sense then that the best way to change the world is to start with ourselves.
