Niall Breslin, widely known as Bressie, is. one of Ireland’s most formidable and inspiring mental health advocates and public speakers. An active polymath, Niall is also a bestselling author, podcaster, musician, philanthropist, and a former professional athlete. With a powerful blend of musical prowess and a passionate commitment to mental well-being, Niall has carved a unique path that resonates deeply with audiences worldwide.

Currently undertaking a PhD at Trinity College, Niall holds an MSc in mindfulness based interventions, bachelor’s degrees in economics and sociology, a higher certificate in performance psychology and is an honorary fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons and of IADT. Niall is also a winner of the prestigious UCD Alumni award for social sciences.

As well as representing Leinster professionally in Rugby, Niall is also a gifted singer-songwriter and frontman to the band The Blizzards. Niall has enjoyed an incredibly successful  career as both a part of The Blizzards and a solo artist.

Niall’s commitment to sharing his pioneering work is inspiring a paradigm shift in the public perception and narrative around emotional well being and human potential. Founded and hosted by Niall Breslin, the critically acclaimed and multi-award-winning “Where Is My Mind” podcast, is an immersive exploration into how we can better look after our heads and hearts in the chaos of the modern world. Niall engages in naturally vulnerable, investigative and generative conversations with philosophers, thought leaders, academics, scientists and musicians including Deepak Chopra, Moby, Edith Eger, Adam Clayton (U2) and many others.

Niall Breslin’s impact also extends far beyond the speaking stage. As founder and Creative Director of the mental health advocacy charity A Lust for Life, Niall has further contributed significantly to his standing as a key figure in the evolving conversation around mental health in Ireland. His work in establishing this organisation and driving its mission has led to numerous social entrepreneurship awards including the prestigious Social Entrepreneur Ireland Impact award, The Social Innovation Fund and the Google Impact Award.
